I have three words for my review of Legally Blonde, the Musical:
new. favorite. play.
While I am a big fan of the movie, I enjoyed the musical even more. The music was hilarious, and the way that the story was adapted to the stage was brilliant. There was even a scene where the cast danced an Irish jig.
I attended the play with some fellow London Kappas. One of the girls asked the ticket window if there was a sorority discount. Without skipping a beat, the young teller (who was very much the Londoner) answered that sadly, there was not, but that he could get us a deal on great seats. This was followed up with him exclaiming "snaps!" and snapping with a huge grin on his face.
I love this city.
